Tirumala Milk Products (P) Ltd. products meet stringent quality control tests and cater to the premium segment of the market for Dairy Products. State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) and Tirumala Milk Products Pvt. Limited have entered into Memorandum of Understanding for promoting dairy activity. As per the Memorandum of Understanding, SBH will finance dairy activity to farmers and Tirumala Milk Products Pvt. Limited will provide inputs to farmers by way of selection of cows or buffaloes, veterinary support advice on feed and buy back the milk with payment directly made to bank. This MOU benefits the farmers in rural areas in many ways such as Assured buy back of milk by Tirumala Milk Products Pvt. Ltd., Increase in income levels of farmers by increased milk production through dairy activity. The farmers will also get a subsidy of 25% (Rs. 1.25 Lakhs) in respect of dairy unit’s upto five Lakh.
