Karim Haddad, Program Manager, Australian Rural Leadership Foundation, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. This is my fifth visit to India for two weeks. 32 People from Australia who are leaders in Community, Industry, Education and Government. All of them have come here to learn the leadership qualities and challenges faced by rural area people in Australia & India. The biggest difference between India (60-70%) & Australia (15-20%) is the population in the rural areas. There are many areas to learn about rural management, crop research for best productivity. There is sophisticated leadership in the country. There are really exciting & innovative views from the rural areas. We are trying to empower women in the rural areas. We have got lot of information about different farming practices engaging in village community works. We can share modern technologies from Australia and implement in India.
