Rajeswara Sarma

Rajeswara Sarma, Priest. In the city of Anantapur, the presiding deity of the Sivakoti temple is Shiva Kameswari Temple . The lingam in the temple is known as Marakata Shiva Lingam and was found by Shivayya Swamy at the Papagni River worshipped by Rishi Parashurama. The temple also has a temple of Lord Shannishwar. Navaratri and Shivaratri festivals are conducted with great fervour. There are four idols of Lord Ganesh in this temple and there is a idol of hanuman in the sitting posture.
