Ramesh Datla, Chairman, CII National MSME Council, Managing Director-ELICO Limited, Investors Meet for SMEs, Taj Krishna, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. This Investors meet is one of the initiatives. The main context of meeting is to identify alternate means of financing for SMEs. We are conducting this programme all over India to educate SMEs to look at alternate financing ways such as venture funding, private equity investment etc. CII has brought to policy issues to the government. One is SME exchange, to remove FDO Cap on SMEs. This kind of funding now entered into the manufacturing sector to help SMEs.
