This new facility is playing an integral role in our global strategy. 5% of equal share is implemented on the new products. Over the next few years, the company has a goal of devoting five to six percent of sales to R&D activities. Mutual beneficiary products are present in the emerging markets. Covidien has more than doubled R&D investments and launched more than 100 new products.
