The temple of Sri Panduranga Swami

The idol in the Panduranga Devalayam is a Swayambhu and it came into light in the year 1929(during the Karthika siddha ekadasi time). The founder of the temple would visit Pandaripur every year and would offer services during the months of Ashada and Karthika months. He also got a privilege to meet a great saint called Sadguru Mahipathi who explained him the significance of Lord Panduranga Vittal and preached him the Panduranga Maha Mantropadesam. Performing severe austerities and annadanam, he happened to witness god in his dream and asked him to construct a temple and that the Lord would certainly manifest himself and this miracle indeed had taken place with large number of spectators including devotees attended the manifestation ceremony to witness the spectacular miracle and the idol of Lord Panduranga Vittal appeared out. The devotees can come over into the Garbagriha and touch the feet of the lord
