Today Aathmeeya Manasika Vikasa Kendram, Special School & Vocational Training Centre for Mentally Challenged Children, is celebrating its 15th Inter District Sports & Cultural School Competitions for mentally retarded children. Their skills and talent has to be elevated. Government supports and encourage these people by providing 500rs pension to these mentally retarded children. Government is planning to construct a hostel with full facilities to these mentally retarded children.
