Dr. Y.V Reddy, Former Governor, Reserve Bank of India-RBI, Indian Overseas Bank, Begumpet, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. I am whole heartedly congratulating the organisers for celebrating Platinum Jubilee. I am very happy to deliver on “Development and regulation of Financial Sector”. I would like to join all the distinct speakers before me. I would also compliment the leaders, officers & staff who nurtured in all these years. I would specially congratulate the stakeholders for organising this wonderful event. Institution is built on solid foundation that has been laid by many builders. Bank has made good progress so far and I am very much delighted for it. The name of the bank itself indicates about the bank. The bank is reasonably efficient, resilient, and strong. Large private Sector banks in India are predominantly under foreign honour ship. Foreign & Indian owning is the same. Large private Sector banks in India are predominantly owned by foreigners in our country. IOB founders visualise Indian bank shows substantial percentage in the overseas banks.
