Finland based Kone Cranes is to supply cranes to Vishaka Container Terminal Private Limited. In an agreement Kone will be supplying two rail mounted quay cranes with an investment of Rs 120 crore.The terminal recently also signed another agreement with Kone for supply of four rubber tyred gantry cranes (RTGSs)
The cranes would be supplied in the next 16 months. The RTGSs will have a lifting capacity of 41-tonne.

The non-auto business of Sundaram Clayton Ltd is to be demerged into a subsidiary. In addition to a manufacturing die casting unit, the company has invested in TVS Motors and other non-auto companies like TVS Electronics and TVS Capital Funds.

Maruti Suzuki will be launching about 5,000 units of the limited edition of its compact car Ritz- Genus, which is about Rs 16,000/- more than its existing version. With the launch of the 125cc Suzuki Slingshot speaking to the media Anand Singh Thakur, senior manager (sales and marketing), SMIPL, said, “We will be coming out with a 100 cc motorcycle and two scooters and are in the process of finalising the project.”
