Hyderabad-based blockchain-enabled Tanla Platforms’ senior leaders are coming back to office starting Monday for three days a week. Announcing the company’s move, Tanla’s founder, CEO and chairman Uday Reddy tweeted, “Our senior leaders are coming back to the office starting today for 3 days a week. All fully vaccinated and strictly follow Covid protocols. We will watch this closely.”Many other companies in Hyderabad like TCS, Wipro, Apple, Nasscom and HCL Tech who are calling back employees to the office. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which has vaccinated almost 90 per cent of its employees, is calling back over 80 per cent of employees to start working from the office. Similarly, the trade association of Indian IT industry Nasscom is looking to follow a hybrid model with less than 30 per cent of employees in office. The work from home concept that had become the new normal in the last 18 months of the pandemic seems to be slowly fading away. Many IT companies – both large and small – are slowly transitioning towards work from the office and are asking employees to attend office at least 2-3 days per week.
